Andrea Cardani

specializes in quantitative analyses in antitrust and damages cases. Mr. Cardani’s consulting experience includes the development and management of complex data analyses and the support of data discovery. Mr. Cardani has worked on the design and implementation of econometric models to establish common impact in price fixing cases and on the construction of economic and financial models to calculate damages and establish liability in monopolization and fraud cases. In American Express v. Visa et al., Mr. Cardani was involved in the construction of a model to measure the effects of the Visa and MasterCard rules that prevented banks from issuing credit cards on the American Express network.
Mr. Cardani’s experience spans numerous industries including airlines, computer softwares, credit cards, energy, financial markets, health care, pharmaceuticals, and semiconductors.
Prior to join Econ One, Mr. Cardani’s research interests focused on the economic and finance of the hedge funds in Italy. He also taught Asset Management and Derivatives and Economics of Financial Intermediaries at the University Carlo Cattaneo, Italy.
