In Re: Flat Glass Antitrust Litigation

The plaintiffs are a consolidated class consisting of certain U.S. purchasers of glass products who allege that the defendants (major domestic manufacturers) conspired to unlawfully fix prices. As plaintiffs’ damage expert, Jeff Leitzinger provided expert reports in 2001 and deposition testimony in January 2002. In May 2003, a district court judge granted the lone remaining defendant’s motion for summary judgment. The plaintiffs appealed. The decision was reversed (in part) and remanded in September 2004. The case settled prior to its scheduled trial in January 2006.
