Senne v. Major League Baseball

The putative class is a group of former and current minor league baseball players alleging they were (i) not paid for all hours worked and (ii) underpaid for overtime.

Dr. Brian Kriegler used publicly available data, player transactions, and survey data to devise a classwide damages model. The trial court granted class certification with respect to the California League and FLSA opt-ins. Currently, the case is under review in the United States Court of Appeals.
