Daniel O’Brien is an Analyst at Econ One Research, Inc. Mr. O’Brien performs damages analysis and litigation support in intellectual property, antitrust, and other complex litigation. He has analyzed accounting and economic issues in various types of disputes including patent, trademark and copyright infringement, trade secret misappropriation, and breach of contract. He has assisted in the determination of economic damages in litigation in the form of lost profits, reasonable royalties, price erosion, accounting of defendants’ profits, restitution, corrective advertising, disgorgement of profits, and diminution in asset and enterprise value. Mr. O’Brien oversees market research surveys for intellectual property and other cases. He conducts quantitative data analyses, prepares expert reports, assists with discovery issues, prepares experts for deposition testimony and provides other litigation services for Econ One clients.
