George Sun is an Analyst at Econ One Research, Inc. Mr. Sun performs damages analysis and litigation support in intellectual property and other complex litigation. He analyzes accounting and economic issues in disputes including patent, trademark and copyright infringement, trade secret misappropriation, and breach of contract. Mr. Sun assists in the determination of economic damages in the form of lost profits, reasonable royalties, and disgorgement of defendants’ profits. He conducts quantitative data analyses, prepares expert reports, assists with discovery issues, and provides other litigation services for Econ One clients.
Prior to working at Econ One, Mr. Sun was an Analyst at the US Department of Commerce, where he analyzed the economic impact of patents and other intellectual property. He has also consulted with clients interested in obtaining intellectual property protection.
