Masako Perona has extensive experience in quantitative analysis and data management in a broad range of litigation matters, such as antitrust, employment, defective products and intellectual property. She has worked on class action cases challenging anticompetitive conduct against the world’s leading technology companies and manufacturers of consumer electronics. She is skilled in discovering and analyzing trends and patterns in complex databases.
Ms. Perona’s earlier work with the firm included the development of custom models to estimate economic damages in oil and gas royalty disputes, as well as conducting research on issues relating to natural gas and crude oil pricing. Prior to joining Econ One, Ms. Perona’s specialized in forecasting, optimization, and other quantitative analysis in the areas of airline revenue management, capacity overbooking, and fraud detection.
